  1. Great, Great tutorial my friend. I hold a student group of developers who are making a fun project. This will allow me to make it a more professional process. Very easy, and great clear, tutorial !

  2. the link u gave takes me to a facebook fans page, and i can't find any further tutorial clips for building a server…….plus do u have the tutorial clips for how to build a BOINC server?  i'm working on it recently…..and it's not easy for me…if there is any help me, I'd be really appreciate. ty 🙂

  3. i do not have permissions to edit the directories. I entered the right username and password when i mapped the network drive (i used the same password for sudo as it is in the vid). help please?

  4. hi great video very helpful, however when i try to do the install of proftpd i get an error E: unable to locate package, so i tried to do apt-get install update and it gets stuck on 0%. Please help

  5. When I create a new virtual server I can only choose 32 bit systems. 64bit is not in any of the lists. Anyone knows why? I tried to follow this tutorial from the beginning and it already went wrong in the first minute.. sigh.. (btw, im running a 64bit win10)

  6. Aroud 15:15 does not work for me. I can see the "share" that I created in File Explorer under Network, but when I attempt to browse to it, I am prompted for my name and password and get an "Access Denied" error. I know the username/password is correct because it's the same as I use to login to Ubuntu when I turn on the VM. I ensure the smb.conf file matches what's in the video and restarted the Samba service, the Ubuntu VM and the host machine.

  7. I am getting a error with the network map when i login it says access denied i do not understand, i looked online and have found nothing. I would be really grateful if someone could help.

  8. I do not have an adapter in my pc, I can work and see publicly my local webserver without adapter of network?

I'm using and I have the network mode NAT

  9. important addition regarding samba (host: win10, guest: ubuntu 16) using E3pOPWNER's example user:
sudo smbpasswd -a tutuser [password: tutpass]
    sudo /etc/init.d/samba restart
    (Hat tip to Asher Hardstark)
