Deskripsi video :
Repair Video Projector NEC NP60 Any brand of Video Projector (Data Show Projector/ LCD Projector) has a common problem with the Auto Off when it has been used more than one thousand hours. Users complain that the Video Projector goes on but after a few seconds will be turn off.

All Video Projectors have Power, Status, and Lamp Lights. LED lights are in different colours, Red and Green. The lights blink and times they blink have different messages for users.
When the NEC Projector status light blinks five times on red, this means ‘Over Heat Temperature’ on the video projector or that one of five fans has a problem.

Notice: If you use your video projector as a portable device, please turn off the power button in the control panel or remote control and let it cool down before you move it or repair it.
For troubleshooting the Video Projector put it face down then unscrew all the screws in the bottom and the bulb’s door too. On the bottom of the video projector, look at the four sides for any screws and unscrew them. Now you can take off the top cover of the Video projector (all brands are the same).

You have to close the bulb’s door. It will be at the bottom of the video projector or in some models, find a sensor door in the top. Push on the sensor and at the same time, plug-in the power cable to the video projector and press the power button to turn on the video projector. Look at the fans to see which fan has not yet started. If the fan is not working, stop before the video projector turns off automatically. To avoid further faults, please carefully disconnect all connectors, especially the flat cable, to check which side of the cable is up.

Unscrew all the screws to access the spoiled fan and replace it. If you don’t have a new fan, use the oil spray (60) to clean the spoiled fan so that it runs better and use it again (but it’s not guaranteed to work as well as a new fan).

I hope this post was helpful and that I helped solve your problem with the Video Projector. Please share this with your friends on social media.

  1. I have a NP61 it works fine, but after 10mins it turns of and blinks 2 times, which means it is overheating. All fans work and are clean. The thermo switch next to the lamp stays closed. Why does it still turn off after 10 mins?

  6. hey,
I have a question to you.
I have a sanyo xga projector PLCXU301A. When I power up my projector the fan appears to work over time, then slow down and then repeat this process a few times, once it has done this the light switches from flashing green next to the power symbol and turns red on the bulb symbol. It was doing this last week so i bought a new bulb, I've put this new bulb in but it is still doing the same routine…
What can i do ? Can you help me ?

  7. I purchased used Epson interactive projector eb 575 wi from eBay. But it powers on for seconds then shuts off.No Display,No image, No heat. Fan continues running (seems loud). status flashing blue, lamp indicator flashing orange And power indicator is off.The projector is very clean. Can help please?

  8. I just fixed my NP60 with the help of your video so I can't thank you enough! My symptom was: working one night but the following night I tried powering it on and got 2-series of 4 status-blinks followed by 6-status blinks (fan error, followed by "lamp failed to turn on, try again in one minute").

I saw and heard the lamp power on during power-up and when I held my hand in front of it, I could see the lamp increase in brightness twice before powering off (total of about 5 seconds). With your video, I took the entire projector apart, pulled the three fans, blew them out with an air compressor (careful not to over rev the fans), sprayed liberally with silicon lubricant, wiped down, blew out any excess lubricant with the air compressor, let them sit/dry overnight and reinstalled, put back together and so far so good!

Might not last as long as new fans as you stated, but I'm happy with this for now and if it happens again I can try replacing the fans. Thanks so much!!!

  9. ok need to post a corollary… this is so typical for me but unfortunately first time I powered everything up, worked like a champ. Because I'm me though, I couldn't let go of the fact that I had a few left over screws that I'm now regretting going back in under the main PCB and looking to see where they might've been from. After putting the NP60 back together again a second time, my symptoms are exactly as I described in my first comment except I do not get the preceding fan error status blinks and I never see the bulb even attempt to illuminate, though I do hear it get power. Any ideas as to what I've messed up? Did I just get lucky that one time? Oy vey I wish I wouldn't have gone looking to see where those missing screws went!! Thanks again.

  11. I have a cooling pump problem with the exact same unit. Is there anything i can do before buying a new part? Also, i have not found a supplier for cooling pump. The manual does note that a cooling pump will be included when you purchase a new, however, suppliers do not specify if cooling pump is included. I did find 1 at walmart that has "pump included" in for $489!

Great video. You are awesome for helping everyone and i will appreciate any help with my projector.
