  1. That is a very straight forward and event-free addition of client to a domain. How about when you have a challenge as follows: I have an issue regarding Netlogon service. I have 3 laptops running windows 8.1 professional and 1 desk top running windows 10 professional. I also have a DC on server 2012 R2. I have been trying to add all these clients on to our domain but I get the following message: "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "domain_name": An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help."

I did some early investigations into the matter and realised that the Netlogon services on all these clients was stopped. I then went to the service and tried to start it manually and then it gave me the following message: "The Netlogon service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"

How can such an issue be resolved

  2. Hello!

I have a question. I am currently connected to my school's domain but i would like to upgrade to windows 10 but i cannot while i'm still in the domain. On my domain account i have all those school applications and i was wondering, that if i disconnected my computer from the domain if it would delete all of the apps that was on that domain account. Please help and soon, windows 10 won't be free for much longer, i could of given the computer to the IT, but the lady is just nasty and it will cost money since you have to back it up and stuff, soo yeah.

    Thanks! 🙂

  3. I hope you can help me out with this one. I have joined a Win10 to a domain but when the user logs in it says you aren't signed in. It logs them into a temp profile which in turn means all data saved onto that account will be deleted after in logs off. Any ideas on how to log in as usual like in Win7?

  4. youre not showing the steps to get to joining the domain. like how to setup the DHCP server and scope and configuring the TCP/IP on the client to be able to join.

  5. I'm happy with this video. what I'm looking for is in the window server. how to setup everything so the client can join the domain. I lost 5 hours but I couldn't find the results. fuck fuck.this video is bullshit to me. I don't care about the other. I only care about me. I don't fucking know how to set everything up. and your video is just telling the final part which is you already finished set everything up in server and the client is ready to join the domai . what the fucking first part how to set up the domain. I'm angry of not having the final solution.
