  1. Hi. I have a question regarding the sudo apt-get remove –purge nvidia* step.
In the end, it says do you want to continue?. In the video, you did not choose but just close it. So what do we choose? Or can we just close it without choosing? I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Thanks in advance

  2. Command for gedit : sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
the required listing at the bottom of the blacklist file:
    blacklist amd76x_edac
    blacklist vga16fb
    blacklist nouveau
    blacklist rivafb
    blacklist nvidiafb
    blacklist rivatv

What these are for? Can you please take some trouble to elaborate this?
