  1. Fabulous tutorial – really really helpful…. May I ask though. When I see you making your slider, the images you upload are crispy sharp. When I see my images on the screen before upload, even when I watch them on eg the television, they are sharp, but when I add them to slider then they are sort of 'fuzzy'… they look weird. What size – dpi and pixel – should images be for the website slider and portfolio? 🙂

  2. Hi Karan!

Thank you for creating this video, it's very helpful and I look forward to progress with it, but at the moment I'm stuck at downloading the Demo themes.

There's apparently not enough space and my host was not able to help me either.

They said this: "You may want to consult with a theme developer for the exact php memory limit MB number. Your diskspace is overloading. Choose a theme that has less effects and low file size."

So every time I try to download the Demo theme I get thrown out of my site (get error messages such as this:

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3072 bytes) in /home3/_____"

I sat in the chat for hours yesterday so I could get access to my site again and don't want to spend another day doing that.

Right now I'm waiting for a response from the Help Center (Envato Market) and wanted to reach out to you as well in case you know what I can do.

Do you have any suggestions or advice to give? I'd really appreciate it.

    Thank you,

  3. I'm currently using the LayerSlider on my website, however I'm having trouble making it responsive for mobile/tablet since it has to have a fixed with with a background image. Is there anyway someone can let me know the best way to make it and the background image responsive?

Also, is there a way I can make certain portfolio items at the top of the page? some of my work pieces featured at the bottom of my pages I want at the top? Is there anyway to edit this like you would with switching menu item placements?

  4. In the system status it says I need to change the php execution time. Hostgator wouldnt let me do this with the hatchling plan thats showed in the video. Can someone please tell me where I went wrong?

  5. Hi, I love the way you teach us, but I noticed this version it's kinda old…Do you have any newer vid about creating a website with Avada?

  6. Thank you for taking time to share your expertise. I am considering using this AVADA theme as a starting point to building multiple sites for multiple customers. I am wanting to streamline the process and still come away with different looking sites for each customer. Do you think this is a good idea –

  7. This is brilliant, thank you so much! I do have a problem though with my homepage slider, I followed your instructions and it works but it doesn't revolve the slides, although I did the settings you suggested for that, any ideas on how I can get the slides to revolve?

  8. When building the website through word press, is it live? like if someone were to google the URL your working on would they be able to view your work as you go?
If so is there a way to make that not happen?

  9. Hello! I just watched this video over a period of several days, building as the demo went along. This is EXTREMELY clear and easy to use. I gained enough information that I could start moving around the Avada template and find little things on my own. Strongly recommend this video for beginners of WordPress/Avada which I was. Got me pushed in the right direction. THANK YOU!

  10. Thanks a lot for this Tutorial, it is very clear and easy to follow!
I just have some more question:
    – how can I change the language of Avada? ( I'm Italian and sometimes understanding some words is difficult… I already downloaded the file, but idk where tu upload it.
    – How can I set the home like the Adventure Theme and customize it? ( I mean the moving map with links on it)

That's for now, hope you will answer me

    Thanks again for the Tutorial

  11. Simply spot on! I purchased this theme because of YOU, I built my own website with this tutorial with the help of YOU, was able to customize each and every section of my website because of YOU!!! I sent you a personal message that you can see what you helped me and thousands of others to create. MULTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. very very useful for me , thank you so much Coach, i have small request please can make small videos for how to make pages using Slugs in Avada .

  13. First off, great tutorial! I was sad to see that you never went over Anchors. I have been scouring the internet and I've found no video on how to add an anchor that takes you from a button to a different location on a page and an anchor that takes you from a drop down menu on your main menu to it's corresponding page. Any help would be much appreciated.

  14. With the finished product, at the top on the same plane as the Menu, how do you change "Avada" to your company's name? And how would you insert a logo there? I know this is an older video but help would be appreciated. Thanks

  15. I would really love a video of how to customise the basic elements within Avada, so for instance if you don't want just the standard options available – what you can do? At the moment I have copied three boxes over as you have shown but I want the alignment of the text and icon in the box to be left. When I try to change only these 3 boxes I get a universal change or I get other wierd stuff happening that I dont want. Would you be able to help on this? I am sure a great deal of people want a bit more freedom than is on offer with their designs?

  16. I do like your approach in general. I managed to get to somehere around 1:00 hour and got completely lost. I 'm running the actual Avada Version 5.5.2 and it is very different from the version you used. Different menu structure and texts make ist very hard to follow your rapid mouse movements as things are always somewhere else. I might give up right now and start looking for a video that builds on actual Avada. Sorry

  17. If I wanted to create my own custom images for my home page. What are the best dimensions and resolutions for the images used in the slider on the home page that you set at 100×400 because that is to big when I create an image that size.

  18. Fantastic Tutorial! Many Thanks. I have a question, which I hope you don't mind helping me with. I have added the following code for my Slide for calling via Skype or anything else a Customer chooses to? <a class="fusion-button button-3d fusion-button-round button-medium button-green button-5 fusion-no-small-visibility" href="tel:(Number removed)" target="_self"><span class="fusion-button-icon-divider button-icon-divider-left"><i class=" fa fa-phone"></i></span><span class="fusion-button-text fusion-button-text-left">Call: Number Removed</span></a> Please can you tell me the code for using email? Many Thanks.

  19. Thank you for putting this together! This is definitely one of the most EXCELLENT video tutorials for setting up a WP site with an amazing Avada Theme! Thank you, Thank you!!!!!
