  1. Thanks for the video. But I already have 2 windows 7: 32bit and 64bit (I have an old laptop, so I use 32bit in most cases, but some programs only work on 64bit, and this is why I have them both); Each on different partition, and I want to add ubuntu as third one.
The last time I did that, similar to your way, the ubuntu loader didn't boot the second one ?
Do you know any solution for my case ?
    Thanks in advance.

  2. Is it enough to reserve 60GB space for Ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu for image processing a bunch of codes to process the satellite imagery. I noticed all of my drive like D, E, F has already in logical drive

  3. have C & 1 unallocated space for Ubuntu in primary drive category.. and in logical drive category I have 2 drives E & F one of them is bitlocker protected.. is there any chances of does data loss after alongside instillation with windows??

  4. My window is crashed and i am not able to use it neither in safe mode. So i am now trying to install it from bootable pen drive but facing drive partion problem (as shown by you). So is there any way to install it without loosing any data?

  5. Okay,i did same but after i intall ubuntu and restart it will atomaticly start windows agin as normal it will not be chose screen so i can chose what will i use,can u help me, u have facebook or something?

  6. Since you showed installation alongside Windoes 10, is there any consideration or changes for Windows 7? One more question, I am using a Windows 7 computer with so many data on it and it is not trivial to reinstall everything again. Then I prefer to avoid formatting. Is "EaseUS Partition Master 11.0" still recommended?

  7. i did the same steps and when i finished there was no windows (mine is win 8.1 64 bits) on the list to choose which os to choose so all you have to do is choose ubuntu and open terminal and type sudo apt-get update grub , restart and it will hopefully work ,it worked for me.

p.s my pc was set on secure boot instead of uefi.

  8. when i was installing Ubuntu it is not giving the list of existing windows 7 partitions, it is just giving the one hard drive as
    500 GB.

if i will install Ubuntu in this case then windows 7 and all the data will be lost.

do you have any solution to this?

  9. Hey, Iam currently running windows 8.1 with only 2 drives i.e, C/ and D/.
So if i create some free space using SHRINK VOLUME on /D drive and install ubuntu 16.04 LTS in that allocated free space…will I loose all the data on/D drive? Secondly doing this will i be able to run win8.1 and ubuntu in dual-boot?

  10. i did installed ubuntu alongside windows 10 on my desktop by following ur procedure.. but one thing which was shady was when i tried to make partitions for swap and ext4.. i selected primary, but it didnt worked..i was confused why is not working..i primary partition is windows drive..and secondary partition is logical..then i thought because my drive is logical, i wud just select logical instead of primary when creating swap and ext4 partitions..i assume You shud mention this in ur the installed successfully without any issues..

  11. In my disc there are only 2 primary drives and 1 logical drive from which I took fee space for ubuntu , but when during installation when i choose free space and then some memory for swap then remaining free space become unusable , so I am unable to do partitioning for root.. what should I do? please sir help.

  12. I download ubuntu…. From net…. but…when I open it it have too many folder in it….n..can't do any option….how can I install it….I downloaded ubuntu 16.04.04 of 1.5 Gb……help me plz
